Payment and Guilty
Plea
You may plead
guilty and check the box A on the ticket. Additional, you must sign your name
and mail ticket to Dannemora Town Court, PO
Box 658, Dannemora, NY 12929. Penalty and surcharge letter will be sent out to you within 14 days of receipt of
your signed ticket.
Reduction
of Tickets
Below are
links to 3 documents you will need to complete the procedure to apply for a traffic ticket reduction.
The first link
is to the New York State DMV form MV-15 which may be mailed in, or to obtain it in a timelier manner, bring it directly to
your local New York State Department of Motor Vehicle office and obtain your abstract in person.
A
driving abstract must be obtained before submitting the Application to Reduce Traffic Infractions form. (See Instructions
Sheet for full details)

Offense is not payable or Court Appearance Required
If the “Court
Appearance Required" box is checked, you must appear on date and time stated on ticket.
Plea of Not Guilty
If you wish to plead
not guilty, you must notify the court at the address and telephone number as shown below at least 7 days prior to the court
date listed on the front of the ticket.
